Hello guys maybe you can help me
I just recently bought a 1989 Mitsubishi Galant LS SOHC.. it wouldent start when i bought it.. some one told me to get a relay tested (connected to distrubuter cap) it was fine... was told to get a new ECM.. so i got a couple for 100bucks=p got them tested they all worked pluged one of them in and it still does not start.. the dist cap works spark plugs are new.. and gas pump works... its mainly not geting a spark... could it be the gas filter? or something else?

If it is not getting spark how would it be the fuel filter. If you have no spark what are the DTCs in the system, is there power to the distributor....is the pickup signal present...is the timing belt still in place and timing correctly...is the ignition coil functioning properly...

Well. according to mitsubishi if the sensor reads something is wrong it wont do its sequence....the relay was checked and is working... and the distributor is not geting power *** i had my hand on that cord tried starting nothing didnt think about the timing belt.. but that doesent explain geting no power to the dist etc etc
