Hey whats up guys, im new to the forums but dont have a malibu.
I've got an 01 grand am gt and last weekend i drove up to meet lvemey3100 so he can powertune my car.

All in all everything went great. Mark was a real cool and helpful guy to deal with. After the tune my cars running alot smoother and i can really feel a difference in power. For the money it's deffinately one of the best mods i have done.

Performance Mods:
Slp Exhaust with Magnaflo high flow cat
APOC Stage 3 CAI with granetteli MAF
RSM Racing 62mm Throttle Body
MSD Wires

POWERTUNED PCM by MP Racing(lvemy3100),
New here as well. and no Malibu, but an 00' Grand Am GT.  I had my PCM reprogrammed by Mark about a month ago.  And there is definitely a difference.  I'm very pleased with the mod! Great guy to deal with.  Also got the TB - MAF CAI pipe from him. Good stuff, great price!

And even though the reprogramming was meant to give more power, which it did, i get almost two miles more on a gallon after the repgrogram, so very pleased with that.

Hey all. New to this site.

I have a '03 Grand Am GT1 and recently had my PCM tuned by Mark. Its my first mod so far, I've only had the car a few months and I'm still making payments, but I am glad I got it done. The car has noticably more power, and the shifts even at low rpms occur faster and firmer. Best example I can give is how the best peelout I've gotten from mashing the pedal down I've gotten from half throttle and w/WOT making a longer slip. Heck I've even gotten the tires to slip a little after the car was already rolling on dry pavement which I've never been able to do before. I can't say anything on mileage only because I haven't done enough city only driving for an accurate number.

That's about all I can think of so if anyone is considering it I say do it.

Hey all!!!!!  I just had lvemy3100 tune my PCM on Sunday the 11th, and as I drove home I could tell a difference. Well worth having this mod done I can feel the difference with the shifts and all. Another side benefit is better mileage.  Just gonna brag on mileage, round trip from my house to his and back, well I had to fill up in Dwight Il but I had a full tank of gas before I left home. I fill the tank with 12.87 gallons of gas and had 513 miles on the trip odometer. I figure this out to be almost 41 MPG!! I had the cruise on all the way up, set it at 71 MPH. On the way back I went a different way so I dealt with traffic driving through towns, but drove it normally not dogging it there and back.

Ok, so last night i went up to greatlakes dragway and ran the car for the *** The only mod to the car is the MP Racing tune from (lvemy3100) it was cold at the track last night temps somewhere in the 30s-40s. the only weight taken out of the car was my sub. I was running my regular all season yoko avid v4s tires, i also was running on 87octane started off with about 1/8 of a tank and quite running when the low gas light came on. my best stock time before was a 15.743@86.64mph and my new pb with the tune is a 15.431@88.46mph. the 1st four runs were against Lab Rat the 4cly supercharged grand am we think his clutch went out on the 4th run cuz it was smelling pretty bad afterwards so he left early. but i was happy to say i beat a sc grand am but this is only due to him not having raced it much and bad lauches other wise he would have just kept kicking my *** like he did on the 3rd run. and im car 205 the ones circled in red for those who didnt figure it out.

Ok now in order for the slips ill list what i was running aginst just in case anyone wants to know i only have models not years or details on the cars.
runs 1-4 against 4cly sc ga 5speed
run 5 turbo mk4 gti
run 6 nissan altima (possible seR) it was debadged and had rims so i couldnt tell
run 7 turbo mkr gti again
run 8 last gen camaro z28
run 9 turbo civic
run 10 turbo civic hatchback (I redlighted)
run 11 maxima 3.5se newest gen
run 12 mazda protage
run 13 mustang gt ( he had a problem and cut out)
run 14 mazda protage again
run 15 pontiac fiero w/motor swap (This was the run where i got my new PB)

thats all i got the slips are attached and in the order that i ran. any ?s let me know. also i dont visit united mailbus much but you can normally find me on gagt.com if you cant get a hold of me here

ithink its pretty easyto tell people love what I have done for them... the only thing you have proof of is that I dont like your car.. ROFLMAO

oh yea every person that I quoted has meet me in person for longer than 3 hrs so I can safely say they do know me (at least alot mmore than anyone who has never met me) and even more to the point I am PROUD to know them!

This isn't Ktulu, he is not the only one who thinks you are worthless.  I was a guest on mc.com and on um.com, and I have seen Ktulu's car, and I like it, and I'll tell you that your jealousy is eating you up and it shows.  And you haven't backed up anything except in your own mind.  All you did was rant and rant and rant on a tirade showing what your friends say about "your" stuff, of course it's good stuff, someone else made it.  And I said I think a CAI helps so I don't understand why you are arguing with me about that.  In your anger you lost any concept of what I had disagreed with.  You are 23?  So yiou are a kid and you just proved it with all of your name calling and CAPS.  Wow, you sure showed me.  Now do your homework and clean your room.  And then you need your mouth washed out with soap.  And there is a reason why everyone on your site agrees with what you say, you delete any post that doesn't.  You had to start your own forum to scream and yell and swear because no one else would stand for your tantrums on their sites.  And I don't they will stand for it here either.    The most adult thing you can do now is not respond and walk away from this as I am doing now.

oh sure  you are only a "guest" on MC... you still havent even told me what I sell that is from ebay much less proved anything about me other than the fact that I am only 23... so i guess, everyone, if you are following what he said you have to be older than 23 to amount to anything and MUST be refered to as a child untill such time...

in the words of Carlos Mencia... DE DE DE

seriously guy I could care less what your opinion is of me but the fact that you would say that I am "worthless" is really strange.. you have never met me and claim only to know me from MC and UM where you are a "guest".. I have never done anything to you personally yet somehow my OPINION of another persons car seems to make you think so low of me that you have deemed me worthless.. you sir are either full of *** about who you are or have a god complex... either of which I could care less to deal with...

I would like to again like to ask WTF you are trying to claim that I buy from ebay and sell as my own??? I sold the design of my strut tower bar to a company that now sells them on ebay and even then I had a contractual obligation to stop making and selling them.. my website has yet to be updated to reflect this but I no longer take orders for them.. instead I refer people to ebay where they can get the same "design" bar as what I sold but IMO not as good quality... we are releasing a new 3 point brace in the spring/summer of '07

also ebay intakes use cheap POS couplers and steel pipes with a standard cone filter... mp racing intakes use T6061 .065 wall aluminum pipes, 3ply polyester reinforced silicone couplers, liner clamps, and S&B powerstack inverted cone filters... not even close on that one..

so what product is it....

WOULD YOU PIPE DOWN.NO body cares how old you are. Secondly as car maker budgets go down you get less meat in the parts. To mess with system perameters for power tuning is a mile killer, they won't last. Tune for flow consistancy and smothness that gives beter MPG if you use the same quantity of fuel. Nic got his gun off with his truck and cuda coment that is the worst that this forum usualy sees and is snotnosed.  BUT YOU Ivemy3100 are not welcome!

apparently you are another person who thinks GM is god and cannot do anything wrong and also that cars cannot be modified to be any better than the way they came fro the factory...

your comment about car maker budgets leading to inferior OEM parts in the long run is complete crap.. they do not make the parts with less quality because they are tight on money at a particular moment in time... WTF sense does that make...

FYI- tuning VE tables is tuning for consistancy not to mention everyone quote I posted is people saying about heir MPG improvements as well as performance... so again wtf are you talking about..

I could care less about "nic's" comment about his truck or cuda it was his passion for telling people on a public forum that they shouldnt waste their time with modding a malibu or any car for that matter unless its an old muscle car or a truck... the only reason he gave is that he is ase certed claims he knows everything about GM and their engine managment... he also claimed that a CAI will hurt MPG and the motor itself because you are adding more air.. then he went on to say that there are "chips" you can buy when there are not ANY "chips" for obd2 (again he doesnt know anything)you can tune the PCM but there arent any "chips"

if I am not welcome please have me banned but i cannot sit and watch people being lied to about their cars by people who know absolutly nothing about a subject they are claiming to have FULL knowledge of....

oh yea you got my name wrong too

All brands suck in my humble opinion. Give me vacume casting eqipt., machine facilitys(mill, lathe gearhob ect..) mollysteel tube, tig, mig, kevlar, carbon fiber, epoxy, asorted stamp chips, platform components, THERMOCOUPLES(not O2 sensors) assorted sensors and about 5 years and I'll make my own hydrolic restance dyno thankyou.

I was talking to nic not you about his truck (premadonna mutch!)

gm won't go belly up that is politics just like the air lines but the asians are puting the squeez on Detroit. Did you know that they contract others to pinch fractions of a cent from a given unit (your car)? The oem compoments are not "inferior" they simply have tighter oporating tolerances wich limits the acceptable deveation from baseline befor failure or SHORTENED CYCLE LIFE!

What do YOU mean by concistancy in your reply line six?

The natural law is that cold air is more dence (Chales' law) therefor more O2 molicules enter the cylinder how does that impact the system? It passes the sensor which richens the mixture. You have presented no hard data or founding princables with your clames only "not to mention evryone quote I posted is people saying about heir MPG improvement" (ref:Yesterday 8:22 am)
I don't put any faith in testimonials.

Please let me apoligise for my typographical eror in my last post and amend it to: Your rude catigorization of others with no basis for your claimes are not welcome here.

I use his products EVERY day. My engine not only sounds bigger it PERFORMS better and i get increased MPG. I do not appreciate this stuff about ktulu's car. It should have never been brought up here. and these things about only using muscle cars. When i get done with my 2001 MALIBU. It will put in a good chance and beat some of your muscle cars. It does not matter what a car looks like or how its been named if i wanted i could put a geo together and it could smoke some of these muscle cars. There is nothing wrong with my car. The GM Malibu was a well built car in my opinion and has out performed any saturns, fords, and toyotas my family has owned. This includes sports cars as well. She has 120000 miles on it and the mechanic says its in excellent condition which is a hell of alot better than any saturns, honda, toyota, or ford i have ever owned. Until you have owned a malibu you cannot judge it accordingly and until youve used lvemy3100's products on a malibu you cannot judge that accordingly. There is nothing wrong with the newer malibu's as muscle cars i don't appreciate this site if people act like this. Your supposed to support those who have ideas.
