I have a 97 Rodeo with a cracked head . I am trying to decide weather to just replace the head, or if I should replace the engine. I got a price quote for the head for $450 with the gasket set included. The engine is roughly $1700. I have checked the rings and they are not passing, but my concern is having 100,000 miles on the rest of the engine, and also spending the money on the head and something still being wrong with the lower end. Any advice would be appreciated. THANKS
