My 2003 Ford Crown Victoria Lx Sport, has just under 48000 miles on it and for the most part I like it, except for one annoying and recurring problem...I bought this car brand new, and was very impressed with the reviews and research I compiled online. As for the problem it's an irriatating squeaking and creaking coming from the frontend...I will be taking it back to Bill Brown Ford, in Livonia Mi., where I bought the car. This will be my fourth, or fifth time  bringing it in for this problem. The dealership has been good in my opinion...They have replaced upper and lower control arms, replaced both front sway bar end links, replaced both lower control arms, excessive wear in ball joints, check and correct...My alignment is good...I'm sure I haven't listed all the corrective measures taken...Please help me I want to save my crown vic!! tanderson

Mine has 32,000 miles on it and I'm just starting to notice the squeaks. I'll be bringing it up on my next visit to the dealer. If they actually did replace all those parts, you can try spraying the frame bushings with a silicone lubricant. Most quick lubes carry a silicone lube in a spray can. Not WD40 or any penetrating type oil. I did this at every oil change for 7 years to my 92 oldsmobile as well as undercoating the car and it still has original bushings and most original front end parts. I plan on doing the same to the ford. For metal squeaks like door hinges and door locks I use Break Free which is a metal lubricant and preservative. If you notice any change in the noise, it may point you in the right direction. I hear my noise on the front right whenever i go over a small to medium bump at slow to medium speeds. I also sometimes notice a whistling noise coming from the steering column area. I recently sold a 95 ford taurus that had a similar noise in the same area that was never diagnosed. Please post back with what finally fixed it.
