Anyone know if any Japanese companies are planning
to bring out a small truck? Every thing out there has
grown big, bloated and thirsty. Thanks.

Keep your eye on the Ford Ranger. Its way overdo for an overhaul. If Ford can get their heads out of their butts It may be worth buying one sometime soon. The new Sport Trac should've been built on the new Ranger platform. Who am I though, Im not rich. I don't understand what middleclass buyers are looking for.....Thats why they got problems with their company. Because they're not listening to us...Buy a Toyota Tacoma if you can't wait on the good ol' US of A.

Not a USofA fan when it comes to auto design/build. Had a 86 Toyota truck for years and loved it, but I want a new one, and, as I said, everything's grown! Thanks for response.

Hope this helps: I attended an evening event at a Canadian government facility a couple of years ago and was amazed to find that Transport Canada was testing a small Honda dump truck. This truck was quite small, about the length of a normal passenger car, but, being a dump truck, it had a lot of character. The people I questioned about this were not aware of any plans to actually sell this vehicle in North America.

Not really sure about it.. I am a fan of small cars but not really with small trucks.. and talking about small cars... I was getting interested in having a Mitsubishi global small concept.. anyone have seen this model in your marketplace?

I think currently no upcoming model...but their are few options available as far as small truck is concerned like Honda Acty, Suzuki Carry, Mini Cab PickUp ,Hi-Jet V Deck ,Carry DD51T PickUp etc...
