My son has a 1990 Cherokee, 4.0.
We lost all power from the firewall back.
Nothing at key, no dashlights, heater controls , etc.
Put new battery in, checked all fuses, new lock cylinder, new starter relay.
Does anyone agree that it could be the ignition switch or ECM? Or any
other ideas?

Is there anyway test those?

Hunting season is here, we need to get it going!

Would appreciate any knowledgeable insight with Jeep Electronics.
Thank You!!!

does the interior light come on when you open the door? if so then i would take a guess and say it's the ignition switch.

you should be able to get a used switch as there are alot of these around for parts. i actually purchased a 1989 just for parts!
