My SRX panoramic sunroof shattered apparently spontaneously without being hit. Any previous reports?

has the car been wrecked in the past...if so somtimes cars have odd body flex causing windows to randomly shatter....seen 2-3 of these...also have seen cases of shattering glass for no reason( I suspect bad glass...weak spot just tweaked the wrong way???)

Glass can do this w/o good reason expecially large sunroof's. I once had a rear window shatter on a 93 F150 by touching it on a very hot day with a metal object and only very lightly. I just touched the glass and it was in pieces. Sometimes there is a weak spot in the glass. Also at some point in the past it could have been hit with a rock etc and you did not even noticed it.
They glass is designed to shatter like that for safelty reasons, so you don't get cut in a accident.
Insurance should cover under comprehensive.
