I'm looking for info on the 2wd version of this trans, I have one torn down that lunched the planetary set in the rear of the case. I know the BMW 3series use this trans as well as the honda passport and cadilac catera, but is there a hassle swapping them out from make to make? I have experience rebuilding GM trans but the cost of the hard parts is $400 alone.  

I don't recall any difference in the gearset from make to make and i'm thinking that the 180-C uses the same gearset. Be sure to index the gears for ease of installation.
