What is everyones feelings on the nissan xterra, im looking for an SUV that has "ok" gas mileage and decent storage space, and the ability to take me off road, not anything extreme just enough to get me to some of those camping/hiking spots that are a little bit harder to reach.
Any info/advice is greatly appreciated.

The Xterra is a great SUV if you're the outdoor type. Its pretty capable off-road and has a good amount of storage space.
If you do get one, get a 2002 model or later. The Superchaged version is worth getting too if you can fit it into your budget.
