This car is just ill man. What a great looking vehicle. I give credit where it's due and this showing by the "Fuse" is gonna make it a winner. Sure the door hinges, later on, will be a little bit more conventional in all probability...to my great hope (for it's a little bit over-presumptuous to mimic Lamborghini on a $17,000 Scion). And the exposed radiator in the front is a little gawky for my taste. Nonetheless, this car just looks great in any of the pictures. The front is aggressive without being annoying, the body is...ok (in the case of this car I would've liked the roof to sweep in to the tail like the 350Z's roofline does). However, the blind spot generated will undoubtedly make this shape at least a bit different. The real bright spot of this car, however, is the magnificent rear. Everything from the integrated exhaust and appropriately designed tail lamps to the well-designed, sculpted, shape of the rear well's meeting the narrowing rear windshield is, frankly, genius for a car in this price-range! In fact, this "Fuse" conjures up images of a 911 Porsche, and that is not a joke. Specifically, the rear windshield and its retraction remind me of the Targa, which is a good thing for Scion. And another plus for Scion are those excellent side mirrors. They may not be very functional, but they sure do look swell. One last thing, I personally would've loved it if the rear bumper was not accompanied by the squared side skirt below it and the exhaust pipes. I think that if you eliminated that lowered look the car would be taken much more seriously. Also, those ridiculous lighting effects circumscribing the exhaust should not make it into production. Here's to hoping at least 250HP could fit!
