I have a 1997 Mitsubishi eclipse (5 speed) with 87,600 miles on it. I have had this car for 7 years and have always maintained everything. I am now having some oil leaks that are driving me crazy. I had the valve cover gasket and the oil pan gasket replaced. I still have an oil leak that I can’t locate. The car does not show any blue smoke only white smoke when the engine or exhaust pipe are warm. You really see the smoke from under the car once you turn the engine off. It seems like the oil is leaking down to the exhaust pipe and burning just before the “cat converter” My guess is that the leak is on the back of the engine which is allowing it to drain to the back and down the back side of the engine. If anyone has had this same sort of problem please help me out in locating this 3rd oil leak.
Thanks
