I'm having problems with this bike I just bought. It's more or less a project bike. When I bought it, the baffle was completely plugged with carbon and what appeared to be oil, and it wouldn't run right. So I took the baffle off and the bike ran ok, for about an hour. After that, the bike would buck and sputter during acceleration and low speeds, but when it reaches high RPM's, there is no lack of power and no sputter at all. The air flow screw is adjusted at 1 1/2 turns out, and when I took the plug out, it was carboned up.
Also, what type of oil should I run in the tranny? Someone recommended 75W90, but that sounds kind of heavy to me, any suggestions?

Did you change your plug? If not try that.
Unfortunalty I do not have the answer as to what tranny oil you used hopefully someone here will. I have also asked other forums to come post here if they have the answers you are looking for.
Good luck.

Have a look at the idle jet also if that gets plugged it will do the same thing no low end or idle but it will run fine wide open.
