My Grand Cherokee was dying intermittantly and each time it wouldn't start again for several hours. I replaced the crankshaft sensor, and now it starts fine. But it has a new problem -- after 15 - 20 minutes, it acts like it has lost a couple of cylinders -- runs rough, smells like it's getting too much fuel, tries to stall. If I turn it off and let it sit for an hour or so, it's fine until it runs for 20 minutes. I've changed the distributor, rotor, wires and plugs. Any ideas?
are there any DTCs set, what does the oxygen sensor read, coolant temp sensor, map senosr....I think you will need a scan tool to diagnose this any further...NickASE Master Auto Technician, L1 ASE Master Auto Technician, L1, ASE Certified Service Consultant, ASE Certified Parts Specialist, Chrysler Certified Service Manager/Technician
