I have a 93 ford Thunderbird LX 5.0 H.O. the transmission pulled perfect when I got the car but fluid was burnt lookin so I changed it and the filter. I filled it back to right level w/ Dexton 3. Now it wont move at all. I went back and check filter to make sure it was on right and it was.

So like I said it pulled perfect when I got it w/ burnt looking fluid and now w/ clean fluid and filter it wont move at all.

Any help  will help out alot because right now ppl are saying I need a new Trans but I dont understand that since it was pulling perfect not slipping or nothing before I changed it.  

I think that u installed the filter incorrectly...if it worked fine before the chang and not after...the only thing that changed was with what u did...so did you make sure the seal was in place were the filter goes into the valve body. are you able to check the line presssure...is there any pressure...even out the cooler lines.  I think that you need to pull the pan back down make sure the filter is in place and that the seal is properly installed if so check the line pressure and go from there
