I bought a MPV with a blown motor for the tranny for my 92 6cyl. It will not shift, but I can manualy shift 1st, 2nd and reverse. I have rebuilt hydraulic trannys before but not many. Would you know what might be wrong with this and how hard of a rebuild it would be?

The tranny I pulled looked like the pump came apart, the clutch discs and some bearings look like they might be new. I bought if off a guy and it did not last more than 3 months. I think someone did a half *** rebuild on it, I might combine parts from the two, I know these are notorious for being bad transmission, I would consider putting a manual in it from a B2600 if I could find the under dash parts, the hole is there for master cylinder.

Any tips would be great.
