i don't think it looks bad, i actually kind of like it.  having more of a luxury hatchback market would be kinda nice, maybe we'll see less 3-series

i don't think so. It was not introduced to the United States initially because BMW was afraid that the 1 series is going to take away Mini Cooper sales.

Just brought a 120d m sport cracking motor but crap run flats let it down, keep getting constant tram-lining effect which concerns me on the 5 star safety report the 1 series has been given.
