I have been on SEVERAL different forums for the RX-8.  I see all the ENGINE problems and I know about the upcoming recall letter to the owners to replace the engines but is anyone aware that it's the SAME engine design.  Mazda has had so many complaints and official complaints from the National Highway Safety Traffic Administration.  It's a plea to get the people through their warranty period and to cool down those individuals seeking justice.  But it's just a "plea", not a real solution.  I have done all the legal run-around with Mazda pertaining the RX-8.  I have had the replaced engine, battery, coils, sensors, etc.  My car has only 24,000 miles on it and still after all this, I experience the same break-downs.  I am feed up with it!  Tomorrow, I go pick up my car from the dealer and I would to see a list of people on here that are willing to fight this with me.  I am asking for Names, Contact information, and VIN #'s of those vehicles who have had problems, even after the replaced engine.  Hopefully, I can get a list quickly (by tomorrow).  I will print it out and take to my dealer tomorrow (I live 2 hours from my dealer)and let them know that I am starting a Petition against Mazda and will soon be seeking legal representation.  I have been in "Written" communication with Mazda Compliance for a couple of months now and I am almost completely prepaired to fight these issues.  The more people join in, the more chance for you to get a solution.  Only submit this information if you are serious and you want to be included in this fight.  My email is blake@blake182.com.

Thanks,
Blake

I am aware of this upcoming recall.  That is why I wrote "...I know about the upcoming recall letter to the owners to replace the engines but is anyone aware that it's the SAME engine design."  2 Weeks ago my engine was replaced. (according to the dealer) they performed all the upcoming recall requirements, just because of all my problems.  6 days later my car is non-starting and back in the shop.  I hate to be negative, but there is no real fix except to redesign the engine.
