Need your expert opinion....my cressida when in overdrive will immediately slip back into 3rd gear when you release the gas pedal when driving between 45mph and 60 mph. I changed the lock up solenoid but that did not help. The throttle cable is new and correctly adjusted to specs. This is the 2nd Tranny on this car and had the same problem with the first tranny (which died).
HELP!!

this may not be helpful to you, so i apologize in advance
if it was my car and the tranny was giving me problems, i would swap out the tranny for a manual. cressidas are great budget drift cars (rwd), my brother and I were searching for a 5 speed cressida as a project car... but we had no luck.
a cressida with a 1jzgte or maybe a 7mgte from a US spec mk3 supra would be a BLAST!
