Detroit News got a frontal shot of the upcoming 2008 Escape. Those fearing a Fusion-esque front can lay those fears aside: the grill’s shiny and there are vaguely three solid bars, but that’s the extent of it. Definitely more machismo-looking though, in my opinion, the upper two grills don’t meld well with the lowest one.

My biggest concern, though, is how the Escape will compete against the Edge which has more modern and contemporary feel. Hmmm. Probably will be marketed to different segments.
