I dont know if any of you VW owners are familiar with the Milltek Exhaust system, but ill go on with this anywayz...
Well, just this past week i finally installed my long awaited Milltek exhaust system and the system sounds great....But....unfortunately it hangs...do any of you know how much it would cost to fix a problem like this? Or have any advice as to how to fix this problem

it hangs too low? did yo do new exhaust hangers at the same time? It shouldn't hang any lower than the factory system since it should be substantially lighter than stock.
Did you do a cat back or a turbo back?

i did the catback exhaust system...im thinking of taking it to a exhuast shop and have them fix the hangers...if you want to take a look at how much it hangs...its the jetta in the parking lot with platinum grey paint and a front JOM badgeless grill...its hanging bad and making me sad

hmmm, unless you stretched out the rubber hangers on the car when you took the stock system off, and put the Milltek on, It might not be that. Do you have the correct system. Does your car have the cut out in the bumper for the tips or not, I don't remeber what year they switched over. If you have the cut out in your valence and its hanging too low, it is possible you have the rear section for a car that doesn't have the cutout. I will take a look a little later.

it doesn't look that low, do you just want the tips pulled up like .5 inch or is something dragging over spped bumps or something? If you do new rubber hangers it will probably pull it up a little, but you will need to have an exhuast shop rebend or remount the brackets to pull it up a lot. If you pull it up too much, you will probably need to trim up the valence since the tips are a little bigger.
Looks good though, do you feel a power difference? I know the big jump in hp from the exhaust comes with a new downpipe, but those get pricey and/or illegal.

i just want it pulled up a lil...so i think imma take it in sometime this week to get it pulled up hopefully with some new hangers or somehtin...
but as far as power difference...i notice a lil bit more mid range power...and in the high RPM's...i like the tone it has too..it doesnt sound ricey or super loud at all...its nice and low...as far as a downpipe...im going to get one when i upgrade my chip in the near future...i was thinking APR or milltek (again)...but we'll have to see...im sure loving what i have now though..
