Saw one of these today;wondered about and researched to almost no avail.
How many were made,are they now a collector car, where can I find out more about them...pictures, model reviews, et al. Thankyou.Rod

I searched google for "cadillac allante" it cam back with 537,000 results. The wikipedia entry has production numbers and everything else you could possibly want to know.
Every car is collectible to someone, but I really doubt it will become a serious collector car.

Try ebay; they always have a dozen or so out there for sale. It will give you an idea of the market value. It's kind of a nice design for a Cadillac, but I understand the fit/finish & mechanics were spotty at best. Big engine (v8) plus all the bells and whistles you expect with a Caddy. I have seen some real gems (mostly from out west) and some heaps. You probably could get one cheap by just checking around.
