toyota is definitiely out to take on bmw m series and benz's amg line, talk about a step in the right direction too.  btw i think its 420bhp not 500, still impressive either way though.

too bad it will probably have traction control that CANNOT be turned of like the current IS, and im sure it will be only available in an automatic with paddle shifters in typical lexus fashion...

well if you think they are really serious about taking on the amg and m lines lexus might surprise you yet.  i never saw an is500 coming, so there u go.

i wonder how the car will handle...lexus doesnt really have great handling due to their "comfort comes first" philosphy, but it would be interesting to see how this IS will manuveur(i dont think i spelled that right)
