According to my sources the car features in the next James Bond movie will be an Aston Martin DBS.  I haven't been able to get that much information about it yet but from what I've heard its going to have a 6 liter V12 engine that has more then a 500hp output on it, and its going to be lighter then the DB9. at least 150 kilograms lighter, but since its a Bond car I'm sure they'll readd the weight and then some with all the machine guns and rocket launchers, and ejection seats that need to go in.  If you want any more information about the new Bond car, here is Ashton Martin's official page for it:

Anyone think this is a shame, or a good thing?

i thought the new bond movie was going to be set in the past where he first becomes a 00 agent or did i hear wrong.  well anyway if it is if they use a brand new aston martin dbs it might be a weird continuity problem...whoa think i've been analyzing too many movies.  any its a really nice looking ride.  

I personly don't like the new guy playing Bond based on what I have heard so far. Apparently they had to reschedule several scenes so they could teach him to drive a stick first. Then he broke his nose or something in a fight scene, and then he got a really bad sunburn and couldn't film. All these things are very unBond. I don't care if this guy is the first blonde Bond, hair color doesn't matter to me, but can't drive a manual!?!! I wasn't a of the last two Bonds, Sean Connery was obviously the best, and they just haven't been able to replace him. Even though he's like 107 years old now, I would still put my money on him in a fight with any other Bond. Bond is supposed to be a Gentleman that can kick*** when he has to, I never believed that with the last two Bonds.

Anyway the Aston looks sweet. I am really happy to see Bond in an Aston again, it wasn't right to see him in a bimmer. I hope the Esprit replacement will be out in time for the next Bond Movie. I want to see another Lotus submarine.

as for the aston, i think it's pretty nice.  any aston in my opinion is freakin sexy
