I have a 02 Saturn SL2 automatic Trans. I changed the fluid with what the Chilton manual recommends Dexron III. The owners manual calls for Saturn Trans fluid, but states Dexron III can be used and will need to be changed more often. That I also may encounter a difference in shifting. Which I have. I also put on a Fram trans filter, however if I place the magnet on filter it would restrict the inlets on filter. Do I need to go back and put in saturn trans fluid and get a saturn filter so I can use the magnet? I put in Castrol DexronIII. What are the differences in fluids?  

There is a relearn procedure for the Saturn that should clear up the shifting problem. As for the filter, i'm not sure where the magnet goes since it's a spin on external filter. Guess I should look at the stock filter a little closer.
