since we seem to be missng a LeMans section i'll just put this here.

i may be worng but wasn't everyone saying that a diesel car wouldn't be able to compete with the gas cars, now this happens...

You have no idea how annoyed I get with things like this. A company pours 100s of thousands if not millions into developing new technology that has directly benefited their street cars, and they are penalized for it for the sake of better entertainment. I think the other teams should be forced to come up to the same level as the top team, don't penalize Audi for being better than everyone else. This is similar to what happened to them in 80s with both Trans Am and IMSA with the Quattro cars in road racing. Everyone laughed at the idea, Audi demolished everyone, then they were run out of the sport because they were smarter than everyone else. Porsche has been dealing with the same thing for years also. At one point BMW was allowed to run a Carbon fiber bodied V8 M3 in GT2 which is supposed to be production based racing. Porsche keeps getting hit with smaller air restrictors and higher minimum weights to keep things "competitive".
