Anybody who's ever owned a Toyota Echo should know how hard it is to find repair information. I'd like to change the clutch on mine, but I don't want to get in there and find myself in a bind. Haynes and Chilton never made a repair manual for the Echo, and the Mitchell's CD I have has everything except the Clutch covered.I'm planning on taking the driveaxles off and unbolting the tranny mounts and the bellhousing and supporting the tranny on a tranny jack. Very basic, I know - but that's all I have to go on right now.Has anyone ever changed a clutch on an Echo? Did you encounter any problems worth mentioning?
