I don't know, I just fail to see the effectiveness of car alarms now. I mean most of them are so sensitive that they'll go off in the presence of somebody sneezing, and since so many go off so frequently many people tend to dismiss the sound of an alarm going off as the incompetence of the owner or just somebody walking into it. Also if I wanted to steal a car, having an alarm on it isn't going to do much in terms of stopping me, and besides any experienced car thief knows how to disable alarm in like 30 seconds. So unless anybody can reassure my faith in the effectiveness of a car alarm then I just don't believe in them anymore.

lojack. it wont stop them from taking it, itll just get it back. maybe even track it down before it gets stripped.
