"Well, this is silly. Ford’s in the midst of yet another name change with its Lincoln brand. First the company got rid of perfectly good names like Aviator and Zephyr and replaced them with MKX and MKZ respectively."

Well Ihave never really felt that a name can make or break a car, but apparently VW will disagree with me since the rabits are flying off the lot at rates the they never dreamed of with the Golf. The M K thing is funny because VW guys hav refered to their cars as MKI, MKII etc for a long time. You would go to a gtg and you could always tell the new guy who had read every internet forum before he showed up because he would always refer them as em-kay-twos, when everyone else was saying mark two. So would the Lincoln MKV be a lincoln mark five???? And I don't think Z is a roman numeral. Then it becomes odd that something would be a mark z. Bring back the name Zephyr, thats a great name.
