Front Wheel Drive: How Do You Change Manual Transmission Gear Oil?

I own a 2007 Toyota Yaris (LOVE THIS ECONOBOX) and want to change the manual transmission gear oil to synthetic. I have changed gear oil on my sports cars but naturally they are all rear wheel drive. How the Hell do you change gear oil on a FWD car?
