Motor Trend recently did a SUV comparo of a MB, a Caddy, and a Rover. Performance-wise, what would you buy? I wouldn't think the Rover, because it's over 2 seconds slower to 60 mph than the other pair.

depends on what you want to do i guess? i'd pick the land rover for off roading

guess that depends if you want a fast SUV, which is sort of an oxymoron but whatever, that LR3 is pretty nice. personally it would either be a toss up between the land rover or the benz, not the caddy since i see to many of those rollin around as it is.

My brother and I test drove a GL450, I'm not a big fan of Mercedes-Benz but I really liked the GL. It has a very simple but elegant interior, the acceleration is responsive for a 2 ton monster, and I love the exhaust note. I haven't driven the others, so I couldn't tell you about the others.

The Merceds Benz GL450 for me. Like H3nry said there are too many Escalades around, and I don't even think the Land Rover LR3 is in the same category performance wise.
