Are they trying to steal the rental car market away from the G6 coupe?
I am not sure there is really a market for the car? How many people are going to walk onto a Ford lot and buy a Fusion coupe over a Mustang?

I think there'll be such a market. There's plenty of folks who want a coupe but find the Mustang to be a bit too retro for them.

So I am guessing it would come in at around 25? I just don't know how many cars are sold in that catergory, I could be completely wrong here and just not seeing it. How many Accord coupes does Honda sell, I would think they would be going up against them and maybe a Chevy Monte Carlo. I can't really see it competing with cars like a Z, TT, Civic etc.

I can think of 4 competitors for a Fusion coupe---the Accord coupe, Solara coupe, G6 coupe, and upcoming Altima coupe..there definitely is a market for FWD coupes... I think a Focus coupe may be coming also.
