Do not buy anything from this dealer, this know to scam people and bad services. I went there for free schedule maintenance and they try to scam me by saying they have no records of my vehicle. Not only I used to be a salesman there but I have also bought my car there as well. After confront the services manager that he's lying. He start to verbally abuse me saying F this and F that. Couple day later the owners call me up and did the same. That dealer has a large debt, they're known for not paying people trade off on time. You guy check the www.labbb.org you will see many complaints. Look out for the new owner Vic and his bestfriend which is the services manager Dan.Just letting everyone knows what you guys are getting yourself into. Happy car shopping everyone.

This just keeps getting better and better! First, I thought wow this guy can barely type, I am not sure if I believe him or not. Then the guy from the dealership replies and makes me think that maybe I should believe the original poster. That was a really professional response.

My wife and I just purchased a 2006 Evolution IX from this dealer and I have nothing but remorse for my decision, and warnings for the rest of you folks.
We went in because we were "curious" about buying an Evo. I've always wanted one because I am a huge rally (WRC) fan. So after a bunch of questions, they started coming at us with numbers. "How about 700 a month for 72 months with 4000 down?" That comes up to 54,000 bucks for a 33,000 dollar car. WTF? So we decided to leave and the sales manager, Nick, chased us out into the lot to "see what he could do". He asked us what our payment goal was, we said 650 per month (with less or no down), and he ran back in and came out and said the deal was done. We were stoked.
We go back inside and the owner (Vic, from the above posts) said he was giving us 15.5k for our trade in. We agreed. When we got the contract to sign, we noticed the numbers that they TOLD us didn't really match the ones on the contract; but they ASSURED us everything worked out (they took value off the sticker price, but gave us less for our trade and blah blah blah). So we signed. BIG MISTAKE. They had shorted us by over 2500 dollars and I only figured it out after we got home that night. I was so upset at myself for being duped... but we had already signed. So we went back in and tried to get them to come clean but they held us to the contract, but then Vic gave us 700 dollars off to "earn our business". So we were still 1800 short. Whatever... we wanted to be done with this. But we weren't.
A few days later, our bank informs us that we can't get a loan without the window sticker. Which the dealer conveniently threw away. Hmm. So then the dealer faxes an invoice and the bank informs us that they won't fianance more than 110% of the MSRP. So we came up 2400 short. The dealer informed us that they couldn't get the rate they promised and we'd have to renegotiate. We said no. (If they could hold us to our stupidity, we could hold them to theirs.)
So a few days go by and they are still "unable" to get financing because they wrote such a bad deal, no bank would buy it. So they call me in and tell me that we're going to have to give the car back. At this point, I was THRILLED that we could get out of this deal and go buy it from some HONEST people somewhere else. I go in to the dealer to get our trade-in and down payment back... and they want to start RENEGOTIATING. I said we were done with them - and done renegotiating.
And then the sales manager BLEW THE HELL UP ON ME because I wouldn't pay ten dollars more per month. He said (direct quote) "This deal sucks my [fornicating][genital]" and he turned red and started screaming about how he was "taking it in the [anus]." (This site won't let me use the real words. lol) He had made over 5000 dollars on this deal, and now that he was going to have to pay a bank to buy his bad deal, WE were screwing HIM?
So after his rant was complete, the finance guy (who may be nice, but is still in cahoots with the dishonest guys) tells me that they are going to have to pay a bank over 2000 dollars to buy the bad contract. I ask "why not just give us the 2000 dollars that you initially screwed us out of, and then our bank already has an approval for that amount?" He says he never screwed me out of anything and that this is just business.
The motto of this place is "earning your business" but really its "stealing your business".
They are the typical cliche car salesmen. This is the fifth car I've bought in my life, and I've NEVER been taken for a ride like this. I've never been treated like this. I've never hated my car so much as I do now. My dream car is surrounded by this nightmare, and its still not over.
We will be suing over how we were treated. (Someone told me they are operating under bankruptcy protection right now, so we'll probably never see a dime. I was also told that they are being sued by CarMax next door for some shady things that were done... but I don't know if either of these are true.) The bottom line is that we were lied to, screamed at, and disrespected from the minute we walked on the lot. Do not purchase anything from this high-pressure, deceitful dealer. Take your business somewhere else.
Now watch as the owner uses some of his signature posting skills to flame me.

I was at your dealership this afternoon and was supposedly "helped" by your employee Sammy. I was not rude or impatient in any way, and yet I was treated very poorly by him. It was as if I was wasting his time and that he more important things to attend to. He did not offer a test drive(until I requested it), he told me hardly anything about the car( though he did claim that he knew little about it), and when I asked for a brochure, he just pointed to the location as he quickly turned the other way. What is his job description and what kind of training did he have? What kind of professionalism is that!? While I was hoping to purchase from your dealership due to it's location, you can FORGET about it now! If he denies all of this, I would be more than happy to come in and refresh his memory. Anyway, just wanted you to know this so that you will not lose anymore customers.

Good to know.
Just to let you know, there are good sales people out there. A good sales person is not the person who offers you the lowest price. A good sales person treats you with the respect a customer deserves. I've simply said hello to a lady before who came back and bought from me because no one would talk to her at another dealership. What happened to treating your customer well? Its pathetic who they let on the sales floor. It is sad to see a profession which requires etiquette, finesse, and rehtoric butchered by guys who barely have a highschool diploma and the intelligence of a freaking rat chasing cheese.

I recently purchased a vehicle from this dealership and it was nothing but a hellish experience. The owner and his staff are a bunch of a greedy crooks. Not only did they trick us into signing a bad deal, but they screwed around for 40 plus days to pay off our trade. They staff ignored our phone calls and dealership visits when we were trying to get our trade payed off. I wish we had ever set foot in that dealership. NEVER buy a car from them. Unless you want to be treated like crap, and lose alot of money to a bunch of criminals. Dont make the same mistake I did. PLEASE do not buy anything from this dealership!

This is the kind of **** that gives a very good profession an bad name. Owners like this guy should be shut down, and not bought out. They do not deserve to be in this field. If enough consumers demand quality service and quit being so price oriented, the business would be different. I hope this guy goes under and someone that knows the business buys his place and turns it around.....maybe he could start a new career in the License Plate Manufacturing field....sponsored by the state of course....

TO EVERYONE ABOVE AND EVERYONE THAT READS THIS PAGE!!!! From what I’ve read I’m compelled to write my thoughts; only people that have had what they think are “bad” experiences have written on here, totaling about 5 people, knowing that the dealership sells 80-100 cars a month and referencing the first posting in July that’s 9x80 which is 720-900 cars/deals NOW that means that just 5 people out of 810 (lets call the difference) people have left complaints. Taking that into consideration and that the other customers have been utterly satisfied beyond belief I’d have to say that the dealership is probably very very good at customer service/reputability among other things. Its sad to see private companies come under such heavy burdens just because a few people complain and use the power of the internet to do so in manner that doesn’t fairly show the companies side or adequately explain the situations. I hope people see beyond that, use common sense, and make wise vehicle purchases from dealers such as this one. After reading a really good article on them in the San Gabriel Valley Tribune & Los Angeles Times, I had a very good experience, and I’m taking the time to write this, my sales person was Isaac and Vic was the manager, I was treated appropriately, and Vic did everything he could to assure my happiness, I would most certainly recommend this dealership to ANYONE looking for a great selection pre-owned cars and ANYONE with below-perfect credit, and wanting a great buying experience and really really awesome cars. From my understanding they have one of the biggest selections of New cars in California. Thanks for reading, God bless.

Looking at it the proper way evolover, all it means is that the likely slew of similar complainers don't know this forum exists, which is why there aren't more complaints left by the "810"'.
