Is it hard to replace the shocks on a 96 toyota 4-runner

Do I need any special tools to do this.

Thanks

I want to say no its not hard just because replacing shocks in general has never proven to be difficult on any car I have ever worked on, but I have never replaced shocks on a 4runner before so i cant speak from experience.  I guess it all depends on your comfort level with mechanics in general.

As previouly noted, level of difficulty is entirely dependent upon your ability.  For me it would rate as a 2 on a scale of 10.  There are no special tools required, but a lift is nice.
